• Families of jailed inmates targeted in phone scam, Caddo deputies warn (westcentralsbest.com) — Shreveport-area families are being warned about a phone scam where callers pose as Caddo Parish deputies and promise an inmate's release on an ankle monitor for thousands of dollars. One local family lost about $4,000 after multiple relatives were targeted. Deputies stress they never cold-call to offer monitoring or demand payment and urge residents to verify any such calls directly with the sheriff's office.

Maybe about 1-3 years old…. Found near Pinehill Rd in Shreveport near Blanchard, with a dark blue collar no tag. I will be keeping him safely in my… (Nextdoor North Highlands) - Peter came over after our dryer started taking forever to finish a load.
He checked the heating and airflow, found what was slowing it down and fixed the problem. He ran the dryer afterward to make sure the heat was back… (Nextdoor Brookwood)
