• Shreveport PD Fight With Domestic Violence Suspect During Arrest (710keel.com) — Shreveport police say a domestic violence investigation on Raspberry Lane escalated when a suspect allegedly assaulted a woman, endangered a child, and then fought officers while trying to grab a Taser. Officers used a Taser and physical force to subdue him, later booking him into Caddo Correctional Center on multiple charges as officials stressed how quickly such confrontations can turn deadly. 
• Why Shreveport Garbage Fees Could Increase Soon (710keel.com) — Shreveport residents are being warned that city garbage fees could rise as early as 2027, with local officials comparing what other Louisiana cities already charge for trash pickup. Authorities say the 40-year-old, who listed a Camellia Lane address in Shreveport, faces multiple burglary, drug, and firearm charges and is being held on $45,000 bond.
