Bath-area voters approve $47.7M budget (pressherald.com) — Voters in Bath and neighboring RSU 1 towns have approved a $47.7 million school budget that will raise Bath property taxes by about 7.3% next year. The plan boosts spending for special education, insurance and wages while cutting or reducing several teaching and support positions and adding new education technicians and a finance assistant.

CCAC summer series preview: music, culture and community on the Kennebec (pressherald.com) — Free Thursday night concerts are returning to Bath’s Waterfront Park this summer, with the new Levitt AMP Bath Waterfront Music Series running July 11 through Aug. 29.
