• 500 acres of Hart Woods now under care of Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust (pressherald.com) — Hundreds of acres of Hart Woods in Bremen and Bristol are now permanently conserved, protecting wetlands that feed the Medomak and Pemaquid watersheds and creating future public trail access. Bremen landowner Eleanor Kinney sold and protected nearly 500 acres around her farm, enabling Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust and Hearty Roots to expand outdoor education and plan a new trailhead and parking area on Fogler Road by summer 2027.
