• Caribou Student Wins Silver at SkillsUSA Nationals (wagmtv.com) — A Caribou Tech Center student, Brady Barnes, just brought home a silver medal from the SkillsUSA national competition, and the community celebrated with a watch party right at the school. Barnes chose to skip the national ceremony so he could graduate with his classmates, making the hometown celebration even more meaningful. Teachers praised his maturity and work ethic, saying they weren’t surprised he stood out nationally.
   

• Unofficial primary election results released for several Aroostook County communities (wagmtv.com) — Unofficial primary results are in for several Aroostook County towns, including Caribou and Connor Township, with ballots covering everything from U.S. Senate to county commissioner races. In Caribou, RSU 39 says a budget validation referendum question was mistakenly repeated on this year’s warrant and ballots, an oversight the school board planned to acknowledge at its June 10 meeting while results await certification.
