• Marshwood's $40.6M school budget approved by voters (pressherald.com) — Eliot voters have approved the new $40.6 million Marshwood school budget, which will raise local school taxes by about 1.43%. The budget passed comfortably in both Eliot and South Berwick and will fund staff raises, more extracurriculars, and added special education technicians starting July 1.

• Maine issues recall over moldy cannabis flower (pressherald.com) — If you bought Green Trap’s “Drip Burger” cannabis flower at OG Cannabis in Eliot between April 29 and June 8, it may be part of a statewide recall for unsafe yeast and mold levels. Check your package for batch numbers DRPBRG032626 or DRPBGR032626, and return or safely dispose of it and contact a healthcare provider if you feel unwell.

• York Hospital's 5K brings in $40K for Caring for All Fund: Here are the winners (seacoastonline.com) — An Eliot resident, 23-year-old Grace Sousa, was the top female finisher at York Hospital’s annual 5K, which raised over $40,000 for the Caring for All Fund. More than 500 participants enjoyed the scenic York course, with proceeds supporting hospital upgrades, patient care, and new medical technology that many Seacoast residents, including those from Eliot, rely on.
