• Philip Goddu Ives, 91 (newcanaanite.com) — A New Canaan family is remembering Philip Goddu Ives, who spent boyhood summers at Kezar Pond in Fryeburg where he developed his lifelong love of the outdoors. The longtime salesman, volunteer, and devoted family man died at 91, and his family suggests memorial donations to Friends of Bristow Bird Park instead of flowers.
