• Harrison voters choose to leave Oxford Hills school district (sunjournal.com) — Harrison voters have approved starting the process to withdraw from Maine School Administrative District 17 in order to keep Harrison Elementary School open, rather than see students consolidated into a larger regional school. The 386–261 vote authorizes up to $50,000 to develop a formal withdrawal plan, leaving the town to decide between becoming its own district or partnering with another nearby system.
