• Kittery Town Council agrees to close outdoor pickleball courts due to noise (wgme.com) — Outdoor pickleball players in Kittery will soon lose their courts after the Town Council voted to close them because noise levels exceeded what’s allowed near nearby homes. Officials are exploring other uses for the current court, scouting new locations that meet a 500-foot buffer, and reminding residents they can still play indoors at the Kittery Community Center. 
• York Village revitalization faces delay after bids come in $900K over budget (seacoastonline.com) — York’s long-planned Village revitalization is facing at least a $900,000 funding gap, and town officials may turn to the Kittery Area Comprehensive Transportation System for extra state and federal help. The walkability project, already 13 years in the making, could be delayed while York’s Selectboard weighs shifting phase-two funds, seeking more KACTS money, or boosting the town’s share.
