British woman crosses Atlantic by balloon (traveldailymedia.com) — Lewiston gets a shout-out this summer as the Lewiston Auburn Balloon Festival returns in August, offering free entry and paid balloon rides. Maine woman ejected after crashing SUV into rocks and rolling (bangordailynews.com) — A serious SUV crash in Hartford sent two Canton women to the hospital, with the passenger transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with serious injuries. The driver, ejected when the vehicle hit rocks and rolled, is being treated in Portland, while a passer-by helped pull the passenger from the wreck before it caught fire.
