(barharborstory.com) — A Parsonsfield resident was seriously burned on July 28 while cutting 50‑gallon metal barrels with a torch, when gasoline vapors inside one barrel ignited and caused a flash fire at 8 Stacey Lane. Investigators say the accidental blaze caused no major damage to the surrounding garage or barn, and the victim is expected to fully recover after treatment at Maine Medical Center.
