• UMaine Extension – Turner 2026 Tractor Safety Course (dailybulldog.com) — A five-week UMaine Extension tractor safety course is coming to SR1 Equipment in Turner starting April 27, offering in-person instruction, hands-on practice, and a final driving test. Youth ages 14–15 can earn the federal certificate they need to operate farm equipment for hire, and adults are welcome to build safer skills around tractors and machinery.
