ā¢ MaineHealth Franklin Hospital to double emergency room capacity (sunjournal.com) ā Wilton residents are being warned that access to MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington will be disrupted this summer as construction blocks the main entrance while doubling emergency room capacity from about seven to roughly 18 rooms. Hospital president Barbara Sergio briefed the Wilton Select Board, noting new behavioral health spaces and promising updates as traffic patterns and entry points temporarily change.

ā¢ Farmington sports field fee backlash prompts policy change (sunjournal.com) ā Youth baseball and softball players from Wilton and Farmington will still use Hippach Fields and Philbrick Park without paying a hefty seasonal deposit, after Farmingtonās select board scrapped the $250 fee this week. Instead, teams face $25 fines for specific maintenance violations, with unresolved fines potentially costing them field access the following season. Ā Ā Ā
