• Despite late-night maneuvering, agriculture bond fails enactment again • Maine Morning Star (mainemorningstar.com) — Winter Harbor’s Rep. Billy Bob Faulkingham played a visible role in the latest fight over a $45 million agriculture bond, which again failed to clear the Maine House. The measure, aimed at supporting struggling farms and forestry programs, could get one last chance when lawmakers return for “veto day” on April 29.
   

• Gun rights, cannabis testing and more left in limbo after Legislature's early adjournment (newsfromthestates.com) — Winter Harbor residents are represented prominently in Augusta as Rep. Billy Bob Faulkingham criticizes how many bills, including a gun-rights proposal and cannabis testing rules, were left unfunded when the Legislature adjourned early. Lawmakers may revisit some unfinished business on April 29, but many measures stuck on the appropriations table are expected to die.
