• Despite ‘no' from North Yarmouth, MSAD 51 budget passes (pressherald.com) — MSAD 51’s $56.7 million school budget has been approved, even though North Yarmouth voters narrowly rejected it while Cumberland voters passed it by a slim margin. The final combined tally was 2,857–2,676, after earlier trimming the proposal by cutting items like new classroom furniture, bus monitors, and special education equipment. This decision directly shapes school funding for families in the shared district.
