Baltimore Man Arrested In Aberdeen After I-95 Road Rage Incident: Police

EDGEWOOD, MD — A Baltimore man accused of pointing a gun at another driver during a road rage encounter on Interstate 95 was arrested at Aberdeen Proving Ground, according to Maryland State Police.

Adam Kuper, 25, is charged with first- and second-degree assault, using a firearm during a felony and related offenses, police said.

Troopers responded to northbound I-95 near mile marker 72 in Baltimore County around 9:40 a.m. on Friday for a reported firearm brandishing.

Investigators said Kuper, who was driving a white Mazda CX-5, pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage encounter before fleeing into Harford County.

No injuries were reported.

Troopers, investigators from the Maryland State Police Highway Gun Crimes Initiative and Aberdeen Proving Ground police later found Kuper on the military installation. Police said he had a loaded handgun.

Aberdeen Proving Ground police arrested Kuper without incident before transferring him to state police custody.
