• Aberdeen celebrates America's 250th with a free festival Saturday (harfordcountysun.com) — Aberdeen is hosting a full day of free America 250 celebrations this Saturday, Sept. 5, centered at Festival Park and capped by evening fireworks at Ripken Stadium. Residents can join a morning 5K, a Revolutionary Route March from East Aberdeen, museum open house, historical reenactments, and family activities, with some portions requiring advance registration online.
