series, the Gospel of Matthew will be used as a guide for “navigating difficult
conversations” about forgiveness, judgement, money and hope.<o:p></o:p>

Maria
Winters, a licensed clinical professional counselor, will refer to Matthew 18
to discuss forgiveness on April 19. Using Matthew 2:18 and 4:18 – 5:16, she
will discuss hope on May 17.<o:p></o:p>

&nbsp;

On May 3,
a group of St. Anne’s parishioners<span style="font-family: Poppins; color: black; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> will
explore the theme of &nbsp;judgment&nbsp;by telling stories and using a
Biblical reading from Matthew&nbsp;7:1-5.<o:p></o:p>

rector, the Rev. Manoj Mathew Zacharia, Ph.D., will refer to Matthew 19:16-26
in a discussion about money&nbsp;on May 10.<o:p></o:p>

The Eastertide
Adult Forum series&nbsp;concludes on May 24. Colleen Cruikshank, a leadership
coach and facilitator&nbsp;with&nbsp;the Constructive&nbsp;Dialogue Institute, references&nbsp;Matthew
27:11-26 in a discussion of religion and politics.&nbsp; <o:p></o:p>

Navigating Difficult Conversations Forum at St. Anne's

Join us for a powerful screening of Exodus, a timely and deeply moving documentary capturing the urgent humanitarian crisis unfolding at the U.S.-Mexico border. Set in late 2019, the film takes viewers to Agua Prieta, Sonora, where the only migrant shelter in the city begins to fill with entire families fleeing violence in the Mexican state of Guerrero and seeking political asylum. The documentary highlights the courage and resilience of shelter workers who refuse to be silent and are determined to give voice to the very people who are fleeing for their lives. The approximately 40-minute program includes: Palestrina, Super Flumina; Tallis, Blessed are they that be undefiled; Chesnokov, Salvation is Created; Smith, Nunc dimitis; Josquin, In principio (John I); Byrd, Rorate; and
 Barber, Agnus Dei.
