City of Baltimore: "Charm'tastic Mile" (USPTO) Seeks 100-Year Agreement with Mayor Scott's Office 

June 3, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting its seeking an unprecedented 100-Year Agreement with the City of Baltimore and Mayor Brandon Scott.

This past April 25, 2026 was the official 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of The "Charm'tastic Mile" being introduced to Charm City. It remains the one-and-only USPTO www.uspto.gov (R) trademark street in Baltimore & the State of Maryland. Mayor Brandon Scott (Certificate of Recognition) & Gov. Wes Moore (Governor's Citation) both honored the milestone 10th Anniversary of "The Mile'. 

The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016) shares the same introduction date to the city as the majestic Domino Sugars (4-25-1951) neon sign, 65-years apart.

On October 24, 2025 when the Baltimore-Edition of MONOPOLY was launched The "Charm'tastic Mile" was highly-featured, it was 1st announced at the Power Plant launch party. Its marquee placement on the game-board for the Chance ? Cards were highlighted with the script Licensed by Hasbro Games

The 100-Year Agreement with The "Charm'tastic Mile" will solidify the 1.3 mile-corridor as one of the Most Famous/Iconic Streets in America as the city moves forward with the Inner Harbor & its near 1-Billion Dollar construction project. The "Charm'tastic Mile" is one of the very few U.S. Streets that's a (R) trademark. When it was published on September 15, 2020 it joined the Magnificent Mile, Rodeo Drive & the Vegas Strip as a USPTO registered mark. 

The Inner Harbor project when fully-completed in 2030 will benefit from The "Charm'tastic Mile". It will also be "Charm City 55". Charm City was coined in 1975 by then Mayor William Donald Schaefer. This coming November 2nd will be the 105th birthday for Schaefer. 

Churchill Downs Inc. (CDI) recently purchased the IP (Intellectual Property) for the Preakness Stakes & Black Eyed Susan Stakes. The 100-Year Agreement will ensure that the ownership of  The "Charm'tastic Mile", its Iconic logo & Street Signs remain here in Baltimore forever.
