High Road School of Anne Arundel Hosts Free Autism Parent Workshop on 5/19

Parents and caregivers of children with autism are invited to attend the annual Autism Parent Workshop hosted by the faculty of High Road School of Anne Arundel County. This free event takes place on Thursday, May 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school’s campus, located at 1131 BenHeld Boulevard, Suite C, Millersville, MD.

Designed as a supportive and informative evening, the workshop will feature expert-led discussions on key topics such as speech and language development, behavior management strategies, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with a range of community organizations offering resources for families navigating autism.

Vendors include: Autism Waiver Specialist, Autism Society, Starobin Counseling, Pathfinders for Autism resources, SEALS Program (adaptive swim), Music Therapy Professional, Eco Adventures, Bello Machre, Baby Steps Pediatric Physical Therapy LLC, DORS, Fello and Annapolis Music Therapy.

Dinner and respite care will be provided for attendees.
