Two Men Wanted In Armed Anne Arundel Carjacking
A carjacking in Anne Arundel has police on the hunt for two men they say held residents at gunpoint before stealing their car.
ANNE ARUNDEL, MD — A stop to investigate a mechanical issue with a car late Tuesday ended in an armed carjacking in Pasadena, police said.
The incident happened just before 12 a.m., when residents traveling in a Jeep Compass pulled over to the side of the road to inspect an issue with their car.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the incident took place on Catherine Avenue.

It was while the car was being looked over that two men in a black SUV pulled up behind the Jeep and approached the car with a handgun, demanding the keys to the car from the driver.
Police said that both men subsequently drove away from the scene, one in the black SUV and the other in the Jeep Compass.

It's unclear how many people were inside the Jeep at the time of the carjacking or what type of mechanical issue the car encountered before the incident unfolded.
Despite a heavy police presence, authorities were not able to locate the two men, who were described as wearing dark-colored hoodies, black pants and ski masks.
