City of Baltimore: "Charm'tastic Mile" Preakness Week '26 Metal-Art 10th Anniv. Logo Unveiled
May 13, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is unveiling its Preakness Week '26 10th Anniversary Metal-Art Logo.
To honor the 151th Running of the Preakness Stakes '26, the Iconic 1.3 mile stretch-corridor located in the heart of Dwtn-Charm City created a Preakness Week logo using their 10th Anniversary Metal-Art logo. The 151st Preakness will be run at Laurel Park this coming Saturday.
The new Metal-Art logo is very popular around town and on "The Mile". The Orioles orange/black colorway-version connects The Birds with The "Charm'tastic Mile". Entrance into Oriole Park on Eutaw Street is just steps away from "The Mile".
The Preakness 151at Laurel Park will have an economic impact on downtown this weekend with a smaller crowd at the race track, and a shrinkage in hotel occupancy. The "Charm'tastic Mile" will showcase the Spirit of Preakness with its logo. Last-year The "Charm'tastic Mile" was a lead table display contributor at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel for the historic Preakness 150.
This past April 25th was the official 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of The "Charm'tastic Mile" being introduced to the City of Baltimore. The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016) shares the same-day of introduction as the majestic Domino Sugars neon sign (4-25-1951). April 25th marked the 75th Anniversary (1951-2026) of the Domino Sugars neon sign, an amazing landmark to the fabric of the city.
The "Charm'tastic Mile" remains the only USPTO www.uspto.gov (R) registered trademark in the State of Maryland. Churchill Downs Inc. made a huge business move last month when they obtained ownership of the Preakness Stakes Intellectual Property, the deal also included the Black Eyed Susan Stakes. Churchill Downs Inc. paid 85 million for the exclusive rights, IP property.
