May 31, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting its STROLL "THE MILE" SUNDAY & the Orioles last game of their 10-Game Homestand.
The Birds yesterday came back from being down 5-1 in the bottom of the 9th inning and scored 5-runs to win 6-5, It was "YARDNESS" at The Park. The O's are 6-3 in the first 9-Games. A win today vs the Blue Jays (12:15 PM) will give them a 7-3 record for the 10-Games, their longest homestand of the '26 season. Baltimore is back on the road for 3-Games vs Boston (June 2-4) and 3-Games vs Toronto (June 5-7) before returning home to face the Seattle Mariners (June 8-11).
Back in 1979 when "Orioles Magic" was born on June 22 vs the Detroit Tigers the O's were down 5-3. They scored 3-runs in the 9th, 3B Doug DeCinces hit a walk-off 2-run homer (with Eddie Murray on base) to secure the victory. The Birds advanced all the way to World Series losing to the Pittsburgh Pirates (4-3) in a thrilling 7-Game Series
As part of its 10th Anniversary (2016-26) year-long celebration the Iconic 1.3 mile stretch-corridor located in the heart of Dwtn-Charm City this past March the STROLL "THE MILE" SUNDAY campaign/slogan was created in an effort to get more foot-traffic to the tourists/business district downtown & the Inner Harbor.
The "Charm'tastic Mile" continues to urge families and visiting tourists to take a Sunday afternoon walk and stroll the 1.3 mile corridor from Dwtn-West, to the Inner Harbor & Harbor East or Stroll "The Mile" to Oriole Park and watch the O's at The Yard.
April 25, 2026 was the official 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of The "Charm'tastic Mile" being introduced to the City of Baltimore. The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016) shares the same introduction date to the city as the majestic Domino Sugars neon sign (4-25-1951), 65-years apart.
