Cassilly Admin. Delivers More Than $45 Million in Savings Through Fiscal Discipline, Strategic Procurment

Responsible purchasing and careful contract oversight have saved Harford County taxpayers more than $45 million since December 2022.

Since taking office in December 2022, Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly's administration has delivered more than $45 million in savings for Harford County taxpayers through responsible purchasing practices and meticulous contract oversight.

"My administration is committed to being responsible stewards of taxpayer funds. Every dollar we save is a dollar we can reinvest in serving the people of Harford County," County Executive Bob Cassilly said. "The diligent work of our procurement professionals ensures that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely while maintaining the high-quality services residents expect."

Savings achieved by the Cassilly administration totaled $45,294,116 over four years as follows:

• FY23: $5,343,395
•FY24: $7,920,321
• FY25: $14,495,040
• FY26: $17,535,360

"I would like to thank our procurement team for these outstanding results as we continue to look for new opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve best value for the citizens we serve," County Executive Cassilly said.
