5th MD Location Of Private School Opens In Harford County
The Goddard School of Aberdeen will offer early childhood education for children from ages six weeks to six years old.

ABERDEEN, MD — The Goddard School will be opening another Harford County location later this spring.
The Goddard School of Aberdeen will offer early childhood education for children from ages six weeks to six years old. Owners Krystle and Nick Molite are partnering with seasoned Goddard School franchisees Amber and David O’Brien to launch the Aberdeen location. The O’Briens own four other locations in Maryland - The Goddard Schools of Forest Hill, White Marsh – Honeygo, Towson and Middle River - Greenleigh.
"We chose Aberdeen to better serve families not only in Aberdeen, but also in nearby communities like Havre de Grace and Churchville. This is an underserved area when it comes to early childhood education, with limited high-quality options for families. As the community continues to grow, so does the need for strong, reliable early learning programs—and we’re excited to help meet that need," Krystle Molite told Patch.

Located at 3680 Adamson Way, the 12,000-square-foot early childhood education center will have 14 classrooms to provide care for and educate approximately 180 students from ages six weeks to six years old. The school will bring 30 teaching jobs to the local economy.
"Our school will follow the high standards of The Goddard School, which families recognize and trust nationwide. We’ll implement the Wonder of Learning curriculum, ensuring a consistent, high-quality educational experience. What makes this location especially exciting is that we’re pairing those proven standards with a brand-new facility and a team of seasoned, experienced administrators and teachers. Our school will feature two large playgrounds, an outdoor classroom, a turf soccer field and an indoor gym—creating a dynamic environment for both learning and play," Krystle Molite told Patch.

The new school boasts a gymnasium, an outdoor turf field and an outdoor classroom along with multiple playgrounds. The school will be equipped with hospital-grade sanitization equipment to ensure a healthy environment.
“Through my experience in early childhood education and as a parent of three Goddard School graduates, I’ve seen the profound impact a high‑quality early childhood program can have on children and families,” said Krystle Molite. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring that same level of care and excellence to the Aberdeen community.”
Molite said she has an educational background that lends an understanding of early childhood education she'll apply to Goddard School operations. She began her career as a teacher at the Forest Hill location before moving into leadership roles at White Marsh – Honeygo, first as assistant director and later as director of education. She eventually became the on-site owner of the White Marsh – Honeygo before now becoming on-site owner at Aberdeen.
"This is a family-owned franchise, led by parents who truly understand the experience—we’ve had all three of our children attend The Goddard School from infancy through pre-K. That personal connection, combined with my background in education and a master’s degree from Towson University, shapes everything we do. We’re committed to building a strong sense of community within our school while providing a high-quality early learning environment that prepares every child for future success," Molite told Patch. The Goddard School’s exclusive inquiry-based education program, Wonder of Learning, relies on a cutting-edge curriculum developed by a diversely skilled group of educators, researchers, physicians and early childhood experts, as well as a built-in assessment of academic and social-emotional progress and family communication via a proprietary app.
Inquiry-based learning, which guides the Wonder of Learning curriculum, is a teaching and learning approach that focuses on the natural curiosity and sense of wonder children bring into the classroom. With teacher-guided inquiry topics, children learn about themselves and the world around them by exploring their interests, investigating concepts and asking questions.
