Harford County earns national award for innovative program serving senior citizens (belairnewsandviews.com) — From its Bel Air base, Harford County's Office on Aging has earned a national award for its BLOOM Project, which brings "senior center on the move" services directly to 11 housing communities. The program delivers health, nutrition, fitness, and social activities where older adults live, aiming to help Harford seniors stay independent and engaged without traveling to a central center.
