French-Style Bakery To Hold Grand Opening In Bethesda
After a long wait, the Ooh La La Bakery has announced its grand opening will be on Saturday, with doors scheduled to open at 9 a.m.
BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE, MD — The Ooh La La Bakery will officially have its grand opening this weekend in Bethesda.
Fans of authentic French pastry treats can participate in the special event Saturday at 8231 Woodmont Ave. Doors open at 9 a.m.
"We're almost ready," reads a Facebook post teasing the opening.

Ooh La La Bakery's menu includes goodies such as crepes, croissants, croque monsieur and ratatouille.
"From warm and fluffy to decadent and dreamy, we’ve got the recipe for a truly sweet day" the bakery says. "We long to see the smiles that our treats can bring to everyone who visits."

Reports of the bakery's arrival to Woodmont Avenue first surfaced in 2024, when co-owner Luis Velasco told Bethesda Today that May 1 was the date the eatery was shooting to open to the public.
The Bethesda location marks the French-style bakery's second location in Montgomery County.
Ooh La La Bakery's first shop in Wheaton is located at 2600 University Blvd. The establishment is closed on Mondays but is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday.
