72nd Annual Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Kicks Off Friday
The 69th annual Greenbelt Labor Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. Monday. There will be an array of events and activities starting Friday.
GREENBELT, MD — The 72nd annual Greenbelt Labor Day Festival runs Friday through Monday with tons of food vendors and food trucks, informational booths, midway rides, activities for kids and more.
There will be bingo games, a book sale, an adult table tennis tournament, the 2026 Outstanding Citizen reception, a performance by a bluegrass quartet and other artists, and other activities on Friday.
On Saturday, there will be a museum exhibition, a pet show, a diaper derby for crawlers and toddlers, more bingo games, a book sale, a balloon waddle race, water balloon toss, pie-eating contest, more live music performances, a photo scavenger hunt, an art and photo show, and a 2-ball tournament.

Sunday's list of fun for all includes the Tour de Greenbelt bike ride, an egg-and-spoon race, sack race, a three-legged race, a memorial gathering, a craft fair, a community drum circle, water relay, a retro town fair, mini historic house tours, live music, youth table tennis tournament, 3-point contest, children's bingo and a cornhole tournament.
The schedule of events for Monday includes the 69th annual Greenbelt Labor Day Parade that starts at 10 a.m. at Crescent Road and Greenhill. There will be more food trucks, more bingo, more midway rides, a lunch on the lawn, live music, parade award presentations, an arts mixer and the Greenbelt American Legion family picnic.
