Cat Thrown Out Of Moving Vehicle On Woodrow Wilson Bridge
A compassionate witness and quick moving police officer helped save a cat that was thrown out of a moving vehicle on the bridge Sunday.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Police are searching for the person who threw a cat out of a moving vehicle while crossing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Sunday.
A witness immediately contacted police and an officer with the National Capital Park Police Prince George's Division swooped in and saved the frightened cat.
The cat reportedly was uninjured, but quite scared. It currently is receiving medical care, the police department shared.

"We commend the citizen for speaking up and our officer for taking immediate action to protect a defenseless animal. Acts of animal cruelty are taken seriously, and we encourage anyone who witnesses abuse or neglect to report it immediately," the police department stated.
