Gunfire Damages Vehicles, Building Window In Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD — Officers discovered two vehicles and one building window were shot after receiving reports of gunfire Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The Greenbelt Police Department reported receiving calls from residents hearing gunshots in the area around 4 p.m. Sunday in the 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane.

One caller described seeing a white vehicle leaving the scene shortly after the gunshots were heard. No injuries or victims have been reported as of Sunday afternoon, the police department stated.
