Hyattsville Teen Arrested In Co-Worker's Stabbing: Sheriff's Office
A 17-year-old Hyattsville boy has been charged in connection to his co-worker's stabbing, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
HYATTSVILLE, MD — A 17-year-old Hyattsville boy has been arrested after police say he stabbed his co-worker.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office said on Friday that around 3:11 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to a parking lot in the 7200 block of Bank Court in Frederick for a report of a stabbing.
Deputies found a man with multiple stab wounds to his arm, chest and abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and suspect worked together. A verbal argument between them escalated into a physical altercation in the parking lot, during which the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene, according to deputies.
The suspect was identified as 17-year-old Darwin Orlando Martinez-Serrano, of Hyattsville. He was arrested later that night in Hyattsville and taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he was charged as an adult with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
