Man Arrested After Child Porn Found At His Home: Sheriff

Prince George's sheriff's deputies, along with U.S. Marshals, have arrested a man they say had at least 200 files of child sex abuse.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Deputies with the Prince George's Sheriff's Office has arrested Luca Antonio Franklin for his suspected role in hosting and distributing child pornography.

According to the sheriff's office, the U.S. Marshal's Service helped track down and arrest Franklin. In December 2025, investigators received a tip from the CyberTipline for Exploited Children indicating that Franklin was actively hosting and distributing illegal material.

A court-authorized search warrant executed at Franklin's home turned up approximately 200 files depicting child sexual abuse material.

Franklin is awaiting extradition from Virginia to Prince George's County.
