Man Exposes Himself To Student In Library Bathroom

A University of Maryland student told campus police that a man exposed himself to the student while both were in a library bathroom.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — A student reported a man exposing himself in a sixth floor bathroom at the McKeldin library on the University of Maryland campus.

The incident happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. Initially, an individual told police that someone had come to the library front desk to report an attempted indecent exposure incident. But that person then left the area without providing their contact information.

Five hours later, University of Maryland Police was contacted by the same person who identified himself as a student. He told police he was inside a restroom stall when the suspect, who was in the stall next to him, exposed himself to the student, the police department stated.

Authorities are reviewing cameras in the area.
