• Three separate Baltimore County shootings leave one man dead, two others injured (foxbaltimore.com) — Catonsville residents woke up Sunday to news of a 38-year-old man shot multiple times on Ingleside Avenue, part of a violent weekend that saw three separate Baltimore County shootings. With no arrests yet and one victim killed in Towson, neighbors from Gwynn Oak to Catonsville are voicing growing fears about safety and wondering if this marks a troubling new trend.
   

• IND Alumnae Association establishes scholarship endowments at Mercy, Mount de Sales (catholicreview.org) — Families in Catonsville connected to the former Institute of Notre Dame may soon benefit from a new $25,000 endowed scholarship at Mount de Sales Academy, starting with admissions for the 2026–27 school year. Paired with a matching fund at Mercy High School in Baltimore, the $50,000 investment aims to keep IND's all-girls Catholic education legacy alive for future generations.
