• Investigation Underway Following Trooper Involved Shooting in Chester (wmdt.com) — Maryland State Police from the Centreville Barrack are investigating after a trooper shot a man who allegedly advanced with a knife during a call in Chester Thursday afternoon. The man was flown to a trauma center, and the trooper is on administrative leave while state homicide and internal affairs units review the incident.
