• Investigation Underway Following Trooper Involved Shooting in Chester (wmdt.com) — A Maryland State Police trooper shot a man reportedly advancing with a knife on Sherman Way in Chester Thursday afternoon, and state investigators are now reviewing what happened. The man was flown to a trauma center, no one else was hurt, and the trooper is on administrative leave while homicide and internal affairs units conduct standard investigations.
