With current director Steve Arnold stepping down at the end of 2026, the board is inviting qualified candidates to apply now and help shape the future of this key local arts institution.
   

• Upper Shore Regional Council launches economic development survey (theeveningenterprise.com) — Residents of Chestertown and the rest of Kent County are being asked to complete a new Upper Shore Regional Council survey that will shape the region’s first comprehensive economic development strategic plan. Commissioners also heard updates on the stalled Chestertown Armory hotel project, new waterfront restaurant plans, and upcoming public hearings on nearby industrial solar proposals that residents can attend.
