This time last-year he was ranked in the Top 3 of the NFL Top 100. Lamar had injuries in the '25 season that cost him to miss 4-games. His production was down and the Ravens missed the playoffs. One of the best or the best-player in the league entering the '25 season is now just the 68th best player in the Top 100. Wow, that's more than a snub, it's an indication by his critics that Lamar's skills are on the down-slide.
LJ8 needs to put the #68 in his locker, put it in his playbook and think about another University of Louisville alum and the #68. Back in 1968 Wes Unseld was the 2nd overall pick of the NBA Draft by the then Baltimore Bullets. Unseld made an impact on the team and was named the 1969 NBA MVP and Rookie of the Year. Wes after losing in the '71 and '75 NBA Finals won it in 1978 vs the Seattle Supersonics. Wes was also named the '78 Finals MVP.
He became only the second player in NBA history to accomplish that feat. It was 9-years earlier in 1960 when it was done by the late-great Wilt Chamberlain of the Philadelphia Warriors. No other NBA great since has done it, Michael Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kobe, Iverson, Steph Curry, Durant or Lebron.
Lamar is seeking that elusive Super Bowl Championship. He's a 2-time NFL MVP. LJ8 think Wes and the #68, using it as inspiration from another U of L alum-brother, have a great season and a possible ride to Super Bowl LXI (61).
