• 4 Stops Added To Flash Blue Route In Howard Co. (patch.com) — Columbia residents will soon have four new stops on the Flash Blue bus rapid transit route, improving connections between downtown Columbia and downtown Silver Spring. With service every 15 to 20 minutes during peak hours, riders can board in Columbia at Merriweather Drive and Little Patuxent Parkway and link to more than 30 regional bus and rail routes via the Silver Spring Transit Center.

• Laurel Shooting, Two Vehicle Thefts Reported in Howard County Crime Bulletin (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Columbia residents should know police are investigating a commercial burglary on McGaw Court and the overnight theft of a gray 2024 Acura Integra from Oakhurst Drive. The same Howard County crime bulletin details a non-life-threatening shooting in Laurel, stolen tires in Ellicott City, and another vehicle theft, and asks anyone with information to contact police.
