Store (patch.com) — A 20-year-old college student is celebrating a $150,000 Powerball win from a ticket bought at the Harris Teeter on Guilford Road in Columbia. After casually checking the ticket days later, he discovered the prize and shared the news with family, now considering a vacation and possibly his dream BMW while continuing school.
   

• Driver Hits ICE Officer In Columbia Parking Lot: Officials (patch.com) — An 18-year-old is being held without bond after police say he struck a federal officer with a vehicle and fled from a Columbia parking lot earlier this month. The incident happened outside Eataliano Market & Deli, and the injured officer was treated at a local hospital. Federal authorities have since lodged a detainer tied to an assault-on-officer warrant.
