• Darnestown man pleads guilty in fatal 2025 crash (thebanner.com) — A 19-year-old Darnestown resident has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with a 2025 crash that killed an 88-year-old passenger in Gaithersburg. Prosecutors say he ran a red light with a blood alcohol level above the legal adult limit; he now faces up to 13 years in prison at sentencing this October.
