The Edgewater expansion came in response to growing customer demand and helped secure their mission to foster community.

"Opening a second Nico's location is incredibly meaningful because it allows us to bring our mission to even more people," Osuna said in a statement.

"We built Nico's to be more than a place to grab breakfast. We wanted it to be a hub where people feel connected, welcomed and reminded that kindness matters. Being able to celebrate this milestone while donating more than $30,000 to Nico's Hope for Life Foundation makes this day even more special because it shows how our community continues to turn simple acts, like buying a bagel, into something that can truly change lives."

The foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention through not just education but also by raising awareness and providing resources to residents.

Customers can make a stop at the bagel shop daily between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
