The company plans to close or sell about half its studios while keeping others, including Ellicott City, operating if they can stay profitable.

Howard County Police say the 26-year-old Columbia man is awaiting extradition after investigators found the victim fatally stabbed in his Columbia apartment shortly after she was reported missing.
