• Maryland Impaired-Driving Crashes Kill 8 People in Four Days as State Police Charge Drivers in Howard, Montgomery, Harford and Allegany Counties (parktelegraph.com) — A deadly suspected impaired-driving crash at Fallston and Harford roads killed a 40-year-old driver after a Toyota 4Runner reportedly ran a red light and struck his Volkswagen. That collision was one of several recent fatal crashes statewide that left eight people dead, prompting renewed calls for Maryland drivers to slow down, avoid alcohol and make safer choices on the road.
