The Maryland STEM Festival is excited to kick things off with our Opening Ceremony at the University of Maryland, College Park on October 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will feature hands-on STEM activities, plus a visit from R2-D2 and astronaut Sally Ride, portrayed by actress Mary Ann Jung!
We warmly invite your families to join us for this special free event and help inspire curiosity and a love of STEM among students and families in Prince George’s County.
More details about the Festival and the Opening Ceremony are available on our website. If you have any questions, please reach out. We’d also greatly appreciate your support in promoting the event.
We look forward to seeing you on October 15!
