• Washington County Flag Day ceremony June 14 (heraldmailmedia.com) — Washington County is inviting residents to a Flag Day ceremony this Sunday, June 14, at 10 a.m. at the Public Safety Training Center on Public Safety Place in Hagerstown. The free event will honor the American flag’s history and reflect on 250 years of independence, offering a chance for neighbors to gather and celebrate shared values.
   

• Two Weekends of WWII Warbirds at Hagerstown (baltimorepostexaminer.com) — WWII aircraft enthusiasts in Hagerstown can catch two full weekends of flying “warbirds” at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum at Hagerstown Regional Airport, with free admission June 20-21 and a $20 fee June 27-28. Visitors can see historic planes up close, buy rides on several aircraft, and enjoy food trucks during the second weekend.
   

• Maryland Developing Workplace Violence Prevention Standard (ehsleaders.org) — Maryland’s workplace safety agency is drafting a new workplace violence prevention standard and is holding a Western Maryland public meeting at the Washington County Free Library in Hagerstown on June 22. Local public employees, unions, and government agencies can share concerns and ideas that may shape future safety requirements, training, and incident response plans across Maryland workplaces.
