• Abandoned HdG Cemeteries Repaired In Honor Of U.S. Veterans (patch.com) — Havre de Grace officials are committing city resources to restore overgrown, abandoned cemeteries where U.S. Colored Troops veterans are buried, ensuring their graves are preserved with dignity. Working with the Sergeant Alfred B. Hilton Foundation, the city will clear brush, document grave sites, and seek local partners and volunteers to support this multi-cemetery restoration effort.
   

• 18-year-old Damascus man charged with DUI after fatal crash on I-70 (mymcmedia.org) — A 32-year-old Havre de Grace resident, Shakee Ali Davis, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-70 in Howard County when the box truck he rode in flipped after being rear-ended. An 18-year-old Damascus driver faces DUI-related charges, while the truck's Elkton driver was hospitalized and the investigation continues.
