• Rabid Raccoon, Groundhog Found In Harford County (patch.com) — Residents near Glenville Road in Havre de Grace are being warned after a raccoon there, and a groundhog in Aberdeen, tested positive for rabies, potentially exposing people or pets. Health officials urge anyone whose animals or family may have contacted raccoons or groundhogs in these areas to call the Harford County Health Department immediately and review rabies safety steps.
   

• Havre de Grace officials say Greenway Farm traffic fix is close (harfordcountysun.com) — Havre de Grace leaders say they're closer to fixing the traffic headaches around the Greenway Farm development near the US 40 commercial strip. After meeting with state delegates and highway officials, they're pushing for a traffic signal at Martha Lewis Boulevard and considering a lower Route 40 speed limit as an interim safety step.
   

• Bohemia Manor falls to Kennett (Pa.) (somdnews.com) — Bohemia Manor's soccer team, coming off a Thursday night game in Havre de Grace, struggled with fatigue and fell 6–0 to Kennett (Pa.) on Friday. The coach said the quick turnaround was tough, but noted younger players are gaining valuable varsity experience as they prepare to face Perryville next and Aberdeen at home Sept. 30.
