• Havre de Grace's little bit of Hollywood: Hunger Games collection drawing international attention (wmar2news.com) — Washington Street Books in Havre de Grace is showcasing a massive private collection of Hunger Games costumes, props, and set models, all on free display. Owner John Klisavage says fans are traveling from around the world, including Australia, to see nearly 100 screen-worn outfits, giving locals a rare Hollywood-level experience right in town.
   

• Havre de Grace fall festival will feature music, food, and a pie eating contest (harfordcountysun.com) — North Washington Street in Havre de Grace will turn into a free community fall festival on Saturday, October 24, featuring live music, beer gardens, kids' activities, and quirky contests like pie eating and milkshake drinking. Local nonprofits and the Chesapeake Gateways Roving Ranger will be on hand, and residents can even sign up for the Polar Bear Plunge fundraiser.
