• Silver Spring Library Purple Line station construction update (Photos) (blogspot.com) — New Carrollton residents are a step closer to riding the Purple Line, as new signs and speakers are now installed at the future Silver Spring Library station for the Bethesda–New Carrollton route. Crews are activating equipment early so test trains, drivers, and pedestrians can safely adjust before passenger service begins, currently projected for late December 2027.
